Are you sure you’re really rich?
Credit cards have many benefits. They offer a convenience, way to pay for things, they save you from having to write multiple checks or carry around huge amounts of cash. But don’t be fooled. There are plenty of people who appear to be so rich financially. However in reality, they are extremely poor and in thousands of dollars worth of debt. As a matter of fact, they ride fancy cars. They live in fancy houses and always seem to go on extravagant vacations. Most people will not admit they are in debt.
I like to follow Dave Ramsey’s advice; “There is no positive side to credit card use. You will spend more if you use credit cards . Logically speaking, credit cards do not seem to make much sense as a financial tool anyway. Purchasing something using credit is just like saying, “I don’t have money, but I’m gonna get it anyhow.” The only use of credit cards is online purchases and as an emergency fund only. Listen to this real good folk, credit is not money; it is only credit, nothing more. Dow, a debit card is essentially a substitute for cash, but if the cash does not exist in your account, the card should not be used at all. In reality most people are poorer financially than they appear to everyone. Ok, let’s say you are rich financially, are you happy with your life? Do you have time to enjoy your riches? My, friend asks yourself again; “Am I really Rich? Some People are rich and don’t even realize it.
